We have created interactive 3D models of equipment that future space explorers can use for activities such as exploring a lunar or planetary surface.
Our goal is to create interactive 3D geology tool for lunar and further planetary exploration . We looked at Apollo-16 press kit to study the microwave instruements used and also the tools astronauts use to explore distant worlds by using remote operation in idealogy of reducing astronaut mobility . Than these tools used to obtain samples and be placed in container and by using transmittor sensor and reciever sensor into rover with arduino based circuit for operations to be done by rover. Our final goal was to come up with a topography (content scanning ) for a particular location and only a specific location with no repeated operations using tools of reduced size for easy access. The underlying exploration driver for this field test was to establish the protocols and technology needed for an eventual manned mission.
The topography of a surface is studied using LIDAR mechanism where LASER is reflected in 360 degrees. The sand sample for analysis is collected by a robotic arm in a pre-drilled place and is stored in a container. All the operations are done as per the signals received by the antenna.
Measurement of topography is made with equipment with reduced size, remote control is brought in so that astronauts can be idle in a place operating the rover
the rover will also able to collect samples of sand for estimating various properties of it, inaccessible area can be accessed by this rover and so this could access almost all the areas
We created a rover to analyze topography along with terrestrial soil sampling collection by remote control operation using LIDAR concept. The goal is to create tools of both Apollo style field geology tools and modern technological equipment to establish the technology needed for future manned missions.

With a Team of Skilled Engineers we started our project from simple drafting to interative CAD models
